Working with an M&T Securities Financial Advisor

There’s no time like the present to start planning your future. Our dedicated M&T Securities Financial Advisors are here, ready to work with you to understand your financial needs and goals.

Approachable, responsible, accessible—and here for you

M&T Securities Financial Advisors provide investment and insurance strategies to guide you on your financial journey. It’s about sorting out needs and wants, understanding realistic goals and choosing investments based on your objectives. Sometimes, that may include choosing a managed account.

Through a conversation or series of conversations, your Financial Advisor will determine if a managed account may be right for you by discussing your objectives, time horizon and any special circumstances. Then, together you will complete a risk analyzer questionnaire to reveal your risk tolerance. With that information, your M&T Securities Financial Advisor will review available programs and strategies to assist you in selecting a program that suits your needs.

Once your managed account is established, you’ll have the option for 24/7 web access to help you monitor your portfolio and view statements. Your M&T Securities Financial Advisor will be by your side every step of the way. Conveniently located at your local M&T Bank branch, he or she is just a phone call away, available to meet with you to review your needs in the face of evolving goals, time horizons or risk tolerance levels.
