The Digital Services Agreement ("Agreement"), which governs your use of M&T Digital Services, including M&T Online and Mobile Banking, has been updated. As indicated below, M&T will no longer be offering M&T Text Banking after March 15, 2018 (this will not impact M&T Alerts sent via text message; however, please note that text message alerts will be delivered from a new number). In addition, FinanceWorks™ will also no longer be available after that date.
Please see the summary of changes below. Please read the entire Agreement carefully and review the
updated Digital Services Agreement as the summary does not cover all changes or all changes in detail.
Summary of Changes:
Section F.1: “M&T Text Banking”: Agreement is updated to note that M&T Text Banking will no longer be available after March 15, 2018.
Section H: “FinanceWorks”: Agreement is updated to note that FinanceWorks will no longer be available after March 15, 2018.
Section J: “Alerts Service”: Agreement is updated to note that customers may elect to receive certain alerts via push notifications within their mobile app. Additionally, after March 15, 2018, a customer may text “STOP” to MTBANK (682265) to discontinue receipt of text message alerts.
Section K: “ACH and Wire Payment Digital Services”: This section was added to the Agreement in anticipation of the future availability of these services being offered by M&T through the Online Banking for Business platform.
No further action is required on your part at this time. Your continued use of M&T Digital Services confirms your agreement with these changes. If you choose to not accept the changes, please contact M&T at 1-800-790-9130 to unenroll in M&T Digital Services.
