The Digital Services Agreement ("Agreement"), which governs your use of M&T Digital Services, including M&T Online and Mobile Banking, has been updated.
Please see the summary of changes below. Please read the entire Agreement carefully and review the
updated Digital Services Agreement as the summary does not cover all changes or all changes in detail.
Summary of Changes:
Section A.2: “Preliminary General Provisions”: Agreement is updated to indicate that when you or anyone you authorize agrees to this Agreement or enrolls in or uses a Digital Service, you agree to the introduction, “Preliminary General Provisions”, “General Provisions for Digital Services”, and (as applicable based on the Digital Services in which you enroll in and/or which you use) the “Digital Services Fee Schedule” within the Agreement as in effect at that time, any addendum to the prior noted sections, as well as those sections of the agreement or addendum that pertain to Digital Services that you are enrolled in or are utilizing.
Section C.2 and C.4: “Bank to Bank Transfers”: For transfers that cannot be completed, the Agreement is updated to remove reference to M&T’s effort to reattempt a transfer. If a requested funds transfer cannot be completed for any reason, we are under no obligation to attempt the transfer a second time. Additionally, in the event we decline to process, or delay processing, any Transfer Instruction: (i) we may, but have no obligation to, notify you via email, and (ii) we shall have no liability to you for any Damages of any kind associated with the declined or delayed Transfer Instruction.
Section F: “M&T Mobile Banking”: Regarding M&T Online and Mobile Bill Pay, the Agreement is updated to reflect that you may now add payees within Mobile Banking.
No further action is required on your part at this time. Your continued use of M&T Digital Services confirms your agreement with these changes. If you choose to not accept the changes, please contact M&T at 1-800-790-9130 to unenroll in M&T Digital Services.
