Explore our eCommerce solutions to simplify back-office payments and integrate card acceptance to your website.

To compete in the world of eCommerce, you need connections.

A payment or eCommerce gateway provides a link between your customer, your eCommerce site and payment processors. This virtual tool takes payment information entered on your site, encrypts it, and then safely routes it to the payment processor for authorization – usually within about two seconds. Once the transaction is approved, the processor charges the customer’s card and deposits the funds to your merchant account.

M&T offers eCommerce gateways for every size and type of business.

Whether you’re setting up your first online store or trying to improve your payment processing across a large organization, M&T Bank Merchant Services® has a payment gateway for you.
